Daydreaming for my *to be* house

Antony and I have been looking at houses, and house hunting for awhile now - I've become sooo house obsessed its depressing. I've been bulling him into seeing open houses, making him stop on the side of the road when I see a 'FOR SALE' sign, leaving him with the two children at home for hours on end, while I go look at open houses, since he has become anything but willing recently . Don't get me wrong - We both want a house, but he doesn't like to look. Hes the kind of man that does into a shop with a shopping list, and is 'in and out'.

I've resorted to daydream of my ideal house - 'Pinterest' is a great tool for something like this. If you have a Pinterest account, please feel free to add me - pinterest.com/keta

In all my 'pinning', I've noticed an emerging theme: Grey
Anything grey/yellow, grey/aqua, grey/white/black
I love it all - God help me when we do finally buy - I'm going to be spending up big and refurnishing our entire house - That's a promise!

Vintage Child Shoot

I've got something pretty exciting to show you guys.
So my daughter Olivia did a vintage photoshoot over the weekend just gone with the lovely Jodi from
Big Dream Photography.
We all had a great time and I'm so pleased with how the photos came out - here is just a sneak peak

The request on the image is that the images are not edited, copied or cropped

Wanted to say a big thank you to Jodi from Big Dream Photography once again, *Vintage Is Beautiful* vintage inspired baby basics made with love.... for providing the lovely clothing, and Lilly Cottage for the amazing props <3

Sping Cleaning

WHOA! It surely has been super busy is our household.
Summer weather has started kicking in - along with the summer storms, so we've been busy cookies cleaning up the yard: Trimming back trees, cleaning out gutters, DE-cluttering the house entirely. We went a little overboard (which always happens when you have a husband like mine), ended up cleaning down the awnings, pressure cleaning the outside of the house, digging up our front yard and laying new PVC piping for better drainage *Wipes sweat off forehead*
So obviously the last 2 weeks have just flown past without so much as a thought.
Enough of all that boring stuff <3

On the plus side - I got my 'Life Planner' from Erin Condren.
I've been making great use of it - it honestly hasn't left my hands in the last fortnight :)
They were even so kind as to give me 50% off international shipping.

Receive $10 off your next purchase: WELCOME10
*Not valid with any other discount code - Never expires*
Receive 10% off your next online purchase: 2010OFF

Given, I've only had it a couple of weeks - I'm still in the 'tweaking' stage,
but it's coming along better then I had anticipated

Before I wrap this post up, I'm currently in the middle of a DIY Paint Chip project, which should (SHOULD) be finished within the next week or so. Pictures and 'HOW TO' coming soon <3

CUPCAKES!

We've been busy today making:
CUPCAKES!

I knew we had some left over cake mixture from my daughter’s birthday party last year (I went a little overboard last year.... Actually I do it EVERY year so had plenty of leftovers), and so I promised the kids we'd make cupcakes, and let them do it all on there own.
Little did I realise, the packet mixture was a few months out of date :( *BUGGER!*

We all took a walk down the road to the supermarket, and picked up a 67cent cake mixture.
Gotta love that it doesn't cost alot to keep the kids entertained <3

What a great job they did? Not to shabby at all
Great for a rainy day

Erin Condren Planner

A very big Good Morning, from little old me :-)

I'm extremely excited this morning. I went looking for some 'printables' for my life planner yesterday as i was having a meltdown moment at my laptop. I came across a blog 'A Box Full Of Lemons' who was giving away a free planner. Silly me went to enter before i relised the contest had already finsihed *bugger*.

I was planning to make my own planner, till I came across this awesome one from Erin Condren. I have ordered my very own, and I should hopefully have it by the end of the month....WOOHOO!

Have you make/brought a planner? How are you liking yours?

Organization: STARTING TODAY!

Organization

Before I go rambling on to much, I thought I would introduce myself to y'all.
I am an aspiring 'supermum'. A sometimes loving wife. A pain in the ass to most. AND a person that has far to much time on her hands, yet never manages to finish a single thing.
So to break that down - I have one of the hardest jobs on earth - I'm raising two beautiful little people, and I'm also a wife to my darling husband and best friend *he truly does put up with me*.

To others, we're just another average
Australian family <3

{{Really do need an updated family picture - taken 1st July 2010}}

Although I/we try to keep things relatively sane around here, which is extremely hard at times - I've come up with a plan to change that.....which is where this post comes into effect. Starting today, I have decided *and determined to see it through* to make up my own 'Life Planner'. This will contain meal planning, weekly/monthly overviews, To-Do lists, important dates, right through to our 'goals' and emergency numbers.

Come back soon and check out how my planner is going
